well me and @rushy made it there about 21:00hrs to find the place well stocked with lycra, tucked ourselves in for the night and awoke to a very crisp frost and a flat tyre on the rushy mobile. it was frigging cold so what better way to start then with a legendary rushy meal, bacon, baked beans, eggs, and sausages on toast, eat like a king i tell you. a quick wash up of the morning dishes by me and we were off in my ute, i managed to get a two wheel drive v8 ute up a 4x4 road all the way to the end. a quick rece of the area revealed a nice animal had been there that morning, off to my haunt and a bit beyond revealed plenty of sign. we checked out a couple of spots i had in mind with evidence of animals holding in the area, we did our best to work a ever changing wind. we found a area that was devoid of any animal sign so changed our plan and tried another area which showed us the animals are traveling close to some of the tracks in the area, we failed to secure a animal but the evidence found did not change our minds about the area, we will be back with more ideas and cunning plans to secure a animal. we headed back to camp to chill out for awhile before we knew it it was dinner time. the clouds had started rolling in before dark but we hopped they would hold off, it was not to be we woke up sunday morning to it pissing down neither of us were equipt for wet hunting so we decamped. we also meet a nice guy ex pat south African mad keen hunter who we strongly encouraged him to join the forum. so the question to ask is when is the next trip.
