If the weather settles i will be off duck hunting on the Waikato this weekend, same place where the boat tipped over and a man lost his life last weekend (RIP) WILL BE WEARING A LIFE JACKET AS USUAL.......

I send everyone to my best spot when it is firing, doesn't seem to hurt my fishing.
mind due people are shit at following instructions and invariably go somewhere slightly different or the wrong part of the tide and catch fuck all :D

It is a small percentage of fishermen that catch a large percentage of the fish. Thank God for that or the ocean would be empty by now Cam.

I know you don't waste any game at your house Dundee, how are you going to deal with this bird? I save mine to go into sausages or salami. The breast meat of a swan reminds me of Sambar or horse meat.

The breast meat will be made into meat patties and the feathers are going to a maori lady to make a cloak.

Another freezing night with no wind,haven't missed a night yet.It didn't look promising.

But luck or my calling paid off as i dropped a pair of mallards.

And dryed her off with a towel when we got home cause that pond would of been bloody cold and another frost on the way.

God they are funny arent they Labs when they get a few years under there belt. Dry them with a towel or encourage them under your coat where its warm and they think they are kings and queens.

The maori lady that I gave the feathers from the swan is going to do me a minature maori cloak. :)
Now just wait for all the dwarf remarks :lol:
