I'm sure I'll make the gun go bang...that'll be about it though.

There is a paddock full of Parries just down the road Happy. Must be at least three hundred in there.

You are correct. Lots of inside feed systems in sheds seems to have made our "paddock" ducks move on.
This time last year I was watching flights of 3 to 400 hundy a night off my deck
Big flight now is 20 ha ha .....
May have to set up some targets round the pond sites and take a .22 to say we hit something
Heres hoping that s not the case ....

Damn Lab bitch has just come in-season. I have been dreading this happening as every Duck Shooting has come close to coinciding with this event.

Cant shoot in the swamp without a dog, so it looks like I will be the most unpopular shooter in the whole swamp. Maybe we will have all the retrievers in our part of the swamp. Four to each dead duck. May end up with our own version of DOC's 'battle of the birds'.

Not if I can help it. I have two labs and that's enough. May end up with pups fathered by half a dozen different breeds out of the swamp otherwise.
