There must be a lot of night ponds and dams in your area 'Packhorse'. Its great sitting on one at sunset. Mostly the ducks are uneducated and they just bore straight on in after a call.

Going to spend the day playing with my decoys, for me Duck shooting starts Wednesday nite when then Son arrives, and then Thursday best mate arrives. Thursday nite we head up the road about a K to a very close friends place for a clay shoot and a pre duck dinner. Getting a tad excited now.

If ducks bore into my call they're either deaf, stupid or suicidal .....and they'd be pretty unlucky as well too if I was to hit one...
