Opito Bay, the jewel of the Coromandel.

All those lovely sunlit scenes and you could almost believe it was summer. Good on you Pengy for giving the Dundees such a great look around our neck of the woods.

Dundee you should have dropped in on my mum in Whangamata on your way to Waihi. She would have made you eat your Veges.

Chris baiting the rods I think he said this was 'Bonita' ? And lucky we turned up as his freezer switch had been knocked off.

Here is Chris rigging up another rod for us.

16 footers or 5 metre rods.

We watched the glow tips on the end of the rods untill they started moving in the star lit night.
Image
Chris winding a rod in to re bait.If you get a big fish don't have the rod between your legs was one tip.
Image
Wasn't long before we started hauling in a few small kawhai.

Day 5 in the Blue from Waihi beach over the Island to the Taranaki.

We crossed the Island through the Waikato then towards the taranaki coast,on the other side of the tunnels we hit the shit weather.

The sea was rough on the Taranaki side of the Island. We had left the gorgeous weather behind

Should of got a hair cut

We found the Toko where we sent a text to falconhell :)
Image
Met up with falconhell then shot back into Stratford for a feed when we came back into Toko we surprised geezejonsey.
Image
Falconhell,Texaswalker joined us for the evening at Jonseys.
The hallway reminded me of the barracks

Then the laughter and yarns began.
