The last day of the trip we followed the red track and are still in the red :)

We were planning on going through Wanganui too Bulls to see the inlaws but the bloody rain hadn't stopped since we left the Naki. :o And the roads were closed through Wanganui to Bulls.

So we drove to Turangi back to Taupo then home via Napier Taupo highway.
Stopped at the Waipunga falls for a looksie, quiet sad about the rubbish everywhere at such a beautiful lookout.

Then late lunch at Tarawera cafe, some nice heads in there. 8-)

On the way out I chucked a new water bottle in the back of the ute and my lion browns fell out :x
Two were punctured with fine mist spraying every where, still had a long way to go so left them on the deck at the cafe. :(
The rain never stopped all the way home, rivers were bursting there banks.

Was a bloody good trip and met up with some good bastards on our journey. Thanks fellas for your hospitality. 8-)
Home to full ponds and flooded rivers. Napier Taupo was closed not long after we got home.Manawatu Gorge and Pahiatua Track also closed and Woodville to Dannevirke closed. Been three years since all the ponds have been full. :)
Hope ya enjoyed our journey ya good bastards :)
Back to reality.
