And the year is not very old yet either 'Dundee'

I caught a kahawai the other day on fairly heavy snapper gear around 2 kilos and that put up a fight I thought. I bet some of your fish took some skill getting to the net.

Last night the weather was looking dodgey south of the Ruahine ranges.

Image

I decided to head on down to the Manawatu river for a fish anyway and chucked my wet weather through the arms of my pack.

Sighted plenty of good fish and landed one.

Even after a small fight I always give the line a tug as the knot can weaken.Only the second time a snap clip has failed me.
Would of been really pissed off if I hadn't checked and got another bite.

I know you have tremendous success with your method DD but I often wonder if it would be even more if that snap swivel was not connected to the lure and the lure was tied on?

I love you and your fish 'Dundee' I wonder how you would go up here with all the saltwater fish out your window.

Nothing else would get done. I havnt even taken my dingy down to the shore where it will reside, until I have got done what I need to get done on this house. I know what will happen when I start chasing the fish.
