Nah. Though the Aldermen Is are among my favourite places GA. Yet I have never spent a night there. We passed pretty close to them as we travelled north from Mayor but we anchored for the night at Slipper Is instead.

No it is East Island just off the East Cape Gibo. Just East of the eastern most Lighthouse in the World. "Decommossioned"

Yes you need the conditions to be ideal to anchor at the Aldermen and we had those conditions too. So kicking myself that we didn't.

Yes you need the conditions to be ideal to anchor at the Aldermen and we had those conditions too. We could have probably drifted for the night, it was that sort of winters night. So kicking myself that we didn't. But we had been cruising for awhile then and had got sick of Anchor watches and those things that go bump in the night and scare the hell out of you.
