.222

Postby Happy » Wed Mar 27, 2019 12:12 pm

Have had three .222 rifles over the last few years. All were obviously sold as worn out or bent barrel or other problems..

Off loaded them as they were not up to it

Bought this very old Tikka M55. . Its been restored and looks great. Shot it with out suppressor to prove accuracy and looks like its a keeper

Made by Tikka before they made Sakos so the real deal hopefully

Got it suppressed and re crowned and now just need to fit scope and hopefully we re away

Very nice 'Happy' My first Sako 222 was brought through the Forest Service for the Princely sum of $66 I wish I still had it.

The 223 Sako that is my main Rifle was first a Sako 222 then a 222 magnum and now its a 223. It always amazed me how a well aimed shot through the shoulder with either could dump a big red stag on its ass.

That rifle has been well looked after and the only things I would be the scope mounts. A tad high
