I will ask where the name is on it. It is something obscure I recall maybe just a mark.

Perhaps under the barrels hidden by the wood work?

I stripped and searched her fairly carefully only place I havnt looked is the butt plate. I will go upstairs and have another
look because like most I don't believe a good quality gun would not have the makers name somewhere.

[quote="ScribeTop..Hammergun of unknown make with Damascus Barrels. Looks to be of very good quality. I shoot 21/2 inch, black powder shells.

2/ Side by side, I Hollis and Sons London. A quality gun. I shoot this still in side by side in clay bird competitions. I was a traditional game bird hunter and I used this gun for years.

3/ Beretta Tehnys, 5 shot auto, 3 inch. This is my main skeet, and game bird Gun.

4/ Ceasar Guerini, Adjustable comb and rib. This I use for sporting clays, down the line ball trap and all that other stuff[/quote]

The Gun at the top, the hammergun, was made by "Joseph Bourne and Son Birmingham. The name was on the top rib.
