I just had a look on the DoC website and although the drop is not on the road end it is very close so I would think not worth our while going down there. Bugger it.

Had a quick look - attached the link to the DOC map for the area being 'pesticided'.
Looks like its not too far from the Roost...

Yep - Rushy as said on the phone I'll cop to that... but I don't think you mandated Waikato on the call did you?? Glad you fellas were well able to look after Toby in my stead on Saturday as I was un-avoidably detained this Weekend. Hope you all had a good time. Rushy will the proposed 1080 drop for Minganui feck with your roost? If not we should definitely plan some thing and soon - I'm gonna be doing a few trips down past Spooks place or TA in the lead up to Christmas if anyones in need of a jaunt.

There's probably a few typos in this as I finished the job that detained me in the wee small hours this morning just in time to go to the client this afternoon. Must be getting old I need a nap![/quote]

Pm me mate when your keen i am just on the other side from Spook about 45min by road

You guys never get any deer in there do you?
Why not somewhere where there's animals?
Most road ends down here guarantee a deer.
