That looks great 'Packhorse'. The Coromandel is overrun with wild pigs at the moment. Talking to one of the biggest and oldest farmer up here the other day 'Marcus Ward', You know Graeme he said
" We have never had so many pigs on our properties as long as I can remember, none of the pig hunters will run their dogs up near the top of the Coromandel because of the 1080"

I can vouch for the pig numbers myself. My mates farm half way back to Thames has got pigs running all over it.

I am still keeping an eye on a few hardy or foolhardy hunters who have started to hunt and eat the pork again. North of the town here in the Moehau area DoC has managed to clone a group of Civilians who run around hand spreading 1080 which curtails any pig hunting into the future. Now they are starting to talk about needing to poison pigs as they are becoming a major pest. Self forefilling prophecy it is.

Seems a waste but be better to shoot/catch and leave.......wasteful wasteful wasteful..
