I wouldn't sneeze at either 'Packhorse' Though I must say most of the hare dishes I have cooked have been very, very tough. Mostly shot in the tussock and bundled into the camp oven before it even had a chance to cool down because I failed to secure a backsteak for tea.

Come to think of it I don't remember meat that was tougher than an old hare.

This had been hanging in the garage since last Friday night when I'd shot it. Thought I'd better do something about it. I have to say it was pretty bloody good. Even the kids scoffed it.
