I have never regretted the experience except for the agent Orange. Thank God my kids were alright.
A few years back I had four other Veterans on the yacht heading round to a Reunion in Nelson. I could not believe that all four of them had children that were in one way or another effected by that shit. When our Govt finally got around to admitting that yes a tremendous amount of AO had been used in our Phoc Tuy province and it had been made at Paratutu in New Plymouth and shipped secretly to Vietnam in Airforce Hercules. Many Vets were so mad they were going to blow up Parliament.
As an exercise google, Paratutu, Ivan Watkins Dow. Talk about a town of death. I wouldn't even walk down the bloody street. People wonder why I fight so hard to stop 1080.
