Eyre mountains

Postby Survival_Outfitt » Thu Mar 24, 2016 12:47 pm

Went up there a couple of months ago with a mate looking for some Chamois. Seen 1 after we ditched the quad bikes but it was far off. Gaitors are a must....prickly scrub in the low ground. ImageImage

Yeh we stayed on the tops overnight, was a little windy but we had some shelter from the rocks. There are a couple of huts in the lo ground but its easier on the legs if you sleep up the top, saves walking up and down all the time. Spotted a deer drinking from the river in the middle of the day. Dont think many people go up there as its a long walk in via the river or u need to get a key to take a bike in.
