Quite fat so it will be good eating. The pig stepped forward as I squeezed the trigger and the 223 projectile that should have hit him behind the ear hit him in the top of the shoulder. A bit of wasted meat but that's lifeImage.

Another little boar off the Coromandel bush edge. Saw about 8 pigs altogether.

All of the pigs that I have shot here in the Coromandel have been great eating. Mind you I spend a bit of time looking them over first before I pull the trigger.

I do admire those fallow that you have been adding to your meat safe this last year 'Packhorse'. My venison this year for the first time in as long as I can remember failed to keep up with the demand. Our busy Bed n breakfast kept me out of the bush most of the spring, summer and autumn.
