I wrote that the above was written for a Winter Story competition last year sponsored by our leather artist Hamish or HNTMAD and John Worthington the knife maker. Hamish thought we should have another story competition this winter and he will try to obtain another John Worthinton knife for the prize. It will be lovingly sheathed in the finest leather by Hamish himself.

I will put up three books as prizes 2nd 3rd and 4th as long as this does not disqualify me to be judged in the competition for the knife and sheath for I sure covet the both of them. A man could go out and buy one and I nearly did buy a Bill Nikl last winter but I think you would wear a knife with pride that you one in a competition whether it be a shooting competition or a story competition.
