Aparently we are a bunch of heartless heathens

The article in the herald that you will find by following the link below casts us in the hunting fraternity in a fairly poor light however I don't think that there is anything that we can say in response that would alter the opinion of the writer.

For example, natural predators help maintain a balance by killing the sickest and weakest individuals.

Thats a pretty good reason to hunt. I am a natural predator helping to keep the balance.

My favourite bit-

"The fact is that we do not need to kill animals to control populations. If we leave nature to her own devices things will tend to balance out. For example, natural predators help maintain a balance by killing the sickest and weakest individuals.

Where population control is necessary there are such methods as sterilisation programmes and the collection of newly laid eggs that have had success overseas could be tried."

Fuckin whack job through and through, trade in our rifles for nut-ring-applicators

Fuck there's an idea. What calibre so do they come in? It would give new meaning to stalking if we could sneak right up to a stag and put a rubber ring on his goolies.

SEND HER A LETTER AND ASK HER HOW TO COLLECT AND CRUSH THE EGGS OF TREE HUGGERS AND LYCRA WEARERS. TREE HUGGERS DISTURB TWEETY BIRDS AND LYCRA AFFICIONADO'S SQUASH INSECTS THAT INNOCENTLY CROSS TRACKS AND ROADS.
