This is part of the reason why I met ‘sometimes’... this gift of a fire pit... Also the fact that he’s a good bastard too... like others I have met from this forum and others I’ve yet to meet.

After a wire brush...

Then a spray with heat resistant paint..

Now to cure the paint....

Just like to reiterate again about @Sometimes being a good bastard. The brazier he donated to my Scout Group courtesy of me has being raffled. We made $300 thanks to his gift. The cash went three ways, helping three different kids to get to jamboree at Mystery Creek at the end of this year. Off to deliver it now and take my youngest two to smallbore so they can have a practice....
