Helped on on a hike up Mt Pironga with the Venturer Unit...hopefully that’s the last time I go up there...the track going in would have being one of the worst tracks I’ve encountered( not that I I’ve walked in many). Fuck that for a game of cards...



I will say though a sense of accomplishment (the photo used is on the easier track heading towards carpark from summit. We managed to do a loop..,) after having done it but yeah nah , not again...

The only time I ever climbed Pirongia was as a young scout myself. I remember parts of the mountain were very pretty. Good on you Packhorse for taking them all up there.

Young fella went to his leaving ball last night....had a mate(ex possum contractor/trapper) take him in his ride....
