Firearms Protest Events Coming to a Town Near You

Postby Kiwigunguy » Fri Oct 25, 2019 4:21 am

If you saw the protest that happened outside the NZ First conference in Christchurch, you will be aware that there are plenty of people who support gun ownership and are now standing up and making their voices heard. Now is your chance to join them.

These protest events will be going nationwide, and should be happening in all cities and towns with significant populations.
The next event will be in Auckland at the Novotel Auckland Ellerslie(72-112 Green Lane West, Ellerslie) on October 31st from 1200-1400.
That is where the Select Committee will be holding their hearings on the proposed legislation.
If you can make it, be there. If you can't, tell someone who might be able to make it.
These events are not affiliated with any political party. It doesn't matter who you vote for; if you support gun ownership, we're all on the same side.

The main event organiser, Justin Cook, is looking for people to help set up events in their area.
If you can help, contact him through Facebook. I'll post links to the various event pages:

Just an update. There will be further protest events held in Auckland, Christchurch, and Hastings over the next two weeks. An event in Dunedin is being organised right now. The protests will be held at the "buy-back" events for each area. I will be at the Auckland protest. Let's try to get more protesters than attendees at these events. I will attach the details below. Come out, and bring as many friends and family members as possible.
